Runa is a Peruvian metal band from the city of Huancayo formed in 2013 by Alex Dyaus.
In September 2015 he released his first EP “Bullets of Annihilation” with good reviews from the metal fans. For this reason, the founding member made the decision to add new members to consolidate it as a 4-member band and along the way he joined the band blasphemator. (bass) that would be given the task of searching for the remaining members and which would be Frank Blackfire (guitar) and Johan sodomizer (drums) who for a long period gave concerts within the city of Huancayo and surrounding cities and thus came to sound the name of Runa which was part of the first edition of the LMF. In later years Frank and Johan decided to take different paths and thus the band was left with 2 members with the idea of ​​the new album in mind. Will “Necrogoat” joins this effort, taking charge of the drums and thus begins the creation of the new album that takes a 180° turn with respect to his style and sound.
At the end of 2018, the band released their first official video clip “Night of Initiation” which is part of the album and as part of the promotion of “Entrance to the ancestral wisdom” which will be released in July 2020 under the Peruvian label “Guts’n”. ‘blood records’
In this period, Runa does not have an official 4th member, so various guitarists provide their support to the band so that Luis “Hellriser” finally joins in 2022, taking charge of the lead guitar and in this way the band is consolidated with 4 members. and thus starting new objectives.
March 2024 the band releases a compilation under the “Black Legion Records” label and we are currently finishing the recording of our next album.
